Here's what other folks are sayin:
Hi Trav, I am 44 years old, love boxing but never had the balls to stand up for myself. I have been watching your videos on YouTube for a while and had my 1st street fight a week ago. I am very proud to say that I through 1 'overhand right' that you teach and knocked the guy straight out and all his friends shit themselves and ran away. Thank you so much for your lesson and I guarantee no one is ever going to fuck with me again! Thanks again Trav.Ace Mcdermott
Today I was walking home with my girlfriend and we were jumped by 3 guys. I was able to fight them off using your power punch technique and the bob and weave technique, thanks a lot man, really saved my ass, been a fan for a while and I knew it would pay off, thank man, appreciate what you do for us, keep doing what you're doing! Peace.Joe Avery Jones
Bruddah Trav, Thank you very much for your emails. My father passed away about two weeks ago and I am grateful to you and your instructional fighting videos. Your techniques are awesome and your sense of humor really makes your videos fun and enjoyable. Your videos often helps me to focus on something other than my father's passing.
My father was a WWII War veteran that fought together with the late Senator Daniel Inoue, 442nd Infantry Battalion E Company. My father was a very very good father to me, thus his passing is difficult and is taking some time for me to accept the fact that he is gone and is with the Lord. Again thank you for all you do and I will get on board with your program very soon. Most likely after his funeral next week! Mahalo,Bruddah Cary
Hey Trav, Just wanted to send a quick email to let you know I have been drilling your head movement technique religiously for about 3 months now. It is quite literally the most effective tool I have in my arsenal combined with counter attack. I just wanted to say thanks for your time and effort with your videos. I'm from England but living in Canada training at Toshido MMA in kelowna British Columbia. UFC's Rory McDonald trains in our gym when he is home and I just wanted to say if you ever find yourself in BC swing by. Your teaching would be invaluable and I would love to see you slip a few of his punches 😉 Thanks again Trav !Rich Mott
I cannot believe how much I’ve learned in these three short videos. I wasted literally years studying with martial arts and boxing instructors. Now at 64 years old, the testosterone isn’t there anymore, and I feel like a target. But your instruction has really given me a shot in the arm. Thanks very much. I’m looking forward to the series you’re planning.
Im lovin your videos man! Your technique and tactics are getting pretty popular with the TACP operators over here at Ft. Benning, GA. Keep that shit up brother.Sam Lindsay
Hi Trav! I'm about to ramble a little bit, so sit back.
I'm 15, overweight as fuck, and suck at every sport you can imagine.
When I was younger (about 9 or 10) I got into boxing, but eventually just got bored with it and quit. Boy, do I regret that. Thing is, recently I got that itch again; I love the competitive aspect of sports, and as a musician, don't really get that…ever. Again, I got the itch, and started to remember all the things I was taught in that relatively small amount of time that I boxed. Bought new gloves, and started watching UFC and YOUR VIDEOS. Dear god, Trav. You have helped me so much! I have already started to lose weight, which makes me fucking happy. I do need to buy a heavy bag so that I can do the whole MP3 workout, since I can only do the warmup (either way I do the warmup 3 times every workout session, which is more or less 4 times a week), but you keep me interested. I think it's safe to say that if it weren't for your videos, I would have lost a week after I bought the gloves.
After binge watching almost every single video on your website, I have now improved my sports philosophy.
Do I suck at baseball? Yes.
Do I suck at basketball? Yes.
Do I suck at volleyball? Yes.
Can I throw a mean left hand? Fuck yeah.
^ oh look, we should work on that
Now I just really want to get into kickboxing, and maybe some BJJ or Judo (maybe you could give me some advice on that).
Honestly I just wanted you to know that you have been a HUGE factor in my new, for lack of a better term, self-improvement plan. Thank you so much, and keep those vids coming.
PS: I'm a lefty, and after watching videos like "The Slip 5-2-3", I wonder? Should I reverse what you're saying? You're saying I should throw "Left Uppercut, Right Straight, Left Hook", but as a southpaw, do I have to reverse all that?
PPS: Just so you know, I'm puertorrican. Me and my cousin fuckin' love you. Just so you know you have international love lol.
