Spinning back kick is my favourite weapon. But I keep my toes of the leg hitting the target pointing to the ground. It makes it easier to slip through the gard (think doing a back kick without spinning, then just add the spinning).

THANKS… Any vids on: 1. spontaneous tricks (ie hat to face, spit to face, shout etc. 2. using anything at yr disposal as defensive arsenal to get distance or insulation from knife attack 3. dealing with people with firearms 4. dealing with yr footing on various landscapes (concrete, grass, ice)… I’ve seen a lot of folks slip and be open from this. Slippin or Tripin’ or getting hung up (roots) up can be bad news.
