So I'm busy right now preparing for the annual...
...which premiers next week, (as does my birthday!) So keep an eye out for some special stuff.
I shall keep today's newsletter brief:
I usually don't enjoy watching "lower tier" MMA competitions. The spectacle as a whole ends up being.... lackluster. Even the announcers lack passion, and I like watching the best.
But sometimes fights are so great that the 'tier' of competition doesn't matter. Two savages collide in epic fashion, blood sprays the audience and the announcers scream like men possessed. Fun is had by all... except the guy that loses horribly.
This is one of the most entertaining fights that I've seen in a while time.
You will see ferocious striking, elite wrestling exchanges, and some of historic ground n' pound.
And the finish... is awesome.
I implore you to watch it.
(After watching this, everyone should be working on knees from the top in half guard. The guy on the bottom in this fight is a Jiu Jitsu black belt, and yet, he got murdered those. Take note of how Beligon throws his hips into 'em. It's really quite something.)
