  • Gotta hook that ankle to prevent that! But I’m sure I’d have been knocked out in the first 5 seconds, and he obviously didn’t have his full wits about him to remember something surely he had been taught before.

    It’s like what Mike Tyson says, I’ll paraphrase:

    “Everybody’s got a plan until a train smashes them in the face breaking it into tiny little pieces, or they get punched by me.” I think that’s what he really meant.

  • This was such a rare and violent finish. Interesting that Rampage says that was the only time he lost his temper in the ring, as he seems like someone who probably loses his temper a lot. But that shows you what kind of control you have to have in there.

  • As soon as he felt himself being lifted up he should have known what was coming and dropped his legs from around the waist and planted his feet on the mat.
