Slipping 1-2′s With Pool Noodles

***READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTE FROM TRAV***

- Two slips on the left foot is NOT the only way to slip a 1-2. In most cases, I prefer bouncing back and forth between the feet as I discuss at 3:30 in this video. This lesson is intended as a drill to teach one of your feet at a time to move quickly, AND it's good for smaller fighters that want to move in close as seen in the Jab into Left Hook Set up. There are many times when you step your foot twice in a row, but it does not have to be EVERY TIME.

  • Noodles… Cool idea. I always just trained with real punches, as it encourages a strong guard. That being said you can train for a lot longer with this method – really important when training movement to become instinct. Thanks for the videos
