I'm usually not a big fan of 'unorthodox' techniques. I find power within simplicity, and then find clever ways to make my 'simple' techniques land.
I also find that the crazier a technique is, the more likely it is to leave you off balance... or simply vulnerable.
Of course, practice can fix such issues... but whatever. I'd rather just look down on 'high risk' techniques like an old man being introduced to the Facebook app on a PlayStation 4.
But every now and again, I find techniques that I would love to master, and the 'Brazil Kick' is one of them.
This technique allows you to smash your foot into people's heads, even when their hands are up... simply by looping over the top. To see it in action, watch this glorious highlight reel.
The guy in this video is Glaube Feitosa... and you're about to see him beat the crap out of a lot of excellent fighters. He smashes Ernesto Hoost (amongst others) repeatedly with the Brazil Kick... and they just don't have an answer for it's crafty-ness.
While it might involve some hip flexibility, stuff like this will actually inspire you to stretch.
Enjoy!
