Love that ! Gravity at work. I have used a gravitational takedown on bigger aggresssors !
Once they grabbed me out of fear of falling I suppose and there I was on top eye to eye. And his eyes were BIG ! He didn’t know what just happened! Love it ! Thanks Trav !
Holy crap that dude’s core strength. Many of these are basically ‘upper body lifts dude up and throw him one way while lower body pushes his legs the other direction.’ He’s basically throwing people by DOING A FUCKING TWISTING CRUNCH.
He has near perfect balance (judo does that) and usually looks to close distance when he sees a kick coming. Kicks are dangerous if your opponent can time them or react faster. That’s some perfect technique there.
Because MMA doesn’t stop after a takedown, it would completely depend on his opponents technique and ability on their back and his ability/technique following his takedown. So more tape of him is required…

How would Saunchai do in something like the UFC?
Without wrestling or jiu jitsu he wouldn’t do well on the ground. He has amazing reflexes, but they’re probably not the right ones for UFC.

Catch and sweep is a favorite technique of mine. Got warned and then point lost in a point match once. Love it.
Nice work , but I have seen leg catches turn ugly for the catcher if they’re not as good as this guy tho
who the hell i this guy???
