I enjoyed the mutual respect given by everyone involved throughout the fight, especially Goodjohn. It’s a great show of sportsmanship that reflects the class of people running the show. Because of that I’ll try to offer something in return:
Goodjohn has excellent head movement no question. If he were to simultaneously throw the overhand when he slips outside the results would have been devastating here, and it would naturally set his feet for a much stronger hook follow up.
He impressed me so much at the end, with such a great show of respect to the reigning champ that I would like to give him something else if I can. He showed some solid angle changes under pressure. Regularly coupling those with an uppercut when he sets would make this kid a terror on any Marquess of Queensberry stage..
